Association
We are a registered charity (SC050240) whose purpose is to provide a community centre for the benefit of all the residents in Gatehouse of Fleet and the surrounding area.
Membership of the charity is through an Association which holds its AGM around December and which elects a Board of Trustees for the day-to-day running of the charity and of the Community Centre building on Dromore Road. Please contact the Secretary for further information about personal or group membership.
Our building is the former Gatehouse school and dates from 1927. It became the community centre in 1986 and was substantially upgraded to improved environmental standards in 2010.
The Centre hosts the Gatehouse Community Church and the Gatehouse Snooker Club, both of which have long-term leases on dedicated rooms.
Please visit our User Groups page on this website to find out more about the many different activities that take place in the Centre throughout the year.
